Reporting to the Director of Corporate Banking

1. Purpose of the Job 

Oversee the modelling and development of transaction and technology-based products using innovative ideas to competitively serve customers better.

2. Key Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for developing business models and documenting business cases for internal Green Light and Product Approval Committees.
  • To prepare corporate transactional product information and support literature preparation
  • To liaise with ICT and Business to customize new solutions for customers.
  • To create standard product documentation for new products
  • To advise on drafting and enforcing new sales techniques and processes for electronic products, cash management, and trade services
  • To ensure smooth handover of completed new transactions, electronic and other tailor-made products to relevant and respective operative departments.
  • To ensure 100% transaction revenue collection, correct General Ledger mapping, and tracking of transfer pricing revenue on all electronic and cash management products.
  • Establish and monitor corporate customer Service Level Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding, Agreements and Nondisclosure Agreements
  • Serve as alternate Secretary to the Green Light Committee and lead in scheduling the GLC meetings and setting the agenda.
  • Lead in understanding products, propositions, and market/customer dynamics and provide appropriate feedback. Research, create, and follow up on the target list for potential new business.
  • Study and analyse customer behavior and requirements and provide appropriate solutions.

3. Qualifications & Experience 

  • Full Grade 12
  • University Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences and any Finance-related field of study.
  • Degree in Business Related Field/ Accounting/E-Commerce/ IT/ Production (Project) Management or the equivalent At least three (3) years of banking experience with a high focus on customer service.
  • Certifications: Certification and membership with reputable institutions and recognized bodies will be an added advantage for good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
